Dubai: The stage is set for the highly anticipated return of DP World ILT20 Season 3. The event will kick off at the Dubai International Stadium with a thrilling clash between Season 2 winners MI Emirates and Dubai Capitals. After two stellar seasons, this year’s DP World ILT20 is expected to be bigger, richer and more exciting than ever. Ahead of the month-long cricket tournament, captains of 5 out of the 6 franchises and the inaugural season champion Gulf Giants’ fast bowler Tymal Mills gathered to outline their expectations for the upcoming season, adding to the excitement for an unforgettable tournament. Shoaib Akhtar, the DP World ILT20 Tournament Ambassador, says that this season, ILT20 is bigger than ever. The hard work put in last year was amazing. It’s great to see people joining and engaging with the tournament. I am sure this season will be even better. The month-long cricket festival will see some of the world’s best cricketers in action. 15 matches of the tournament will be played at the Dubai International Stadium. Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches while Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host 8 matches.
