As IDF soldiers cross into the sovereign nation of Lebanon, every political leader in Canada now faces an important choice.
Will these leaders stand on the side of peace and with the international community in calling for an end to yet another instance of mass violence?
Or will they stand for war, bloodshed, and more atrocities toward another civilian population?
They must decide. We are watching.
To our community: we know this is a dark time.
Many of us feel helpless as we watch the world tear itself apart, all at the expense of vulnerable civilians who’ve died in the tens of thousands.
This is the time to push for justice.
The mass atrocities and carnage in Gaza has not stopped even as the IDF invades Lebanon.
Canada must push for an end to the violence there. |
