CANADA-April 07, 2026: Let Humanity Win. Peace and dialogue is the need of present time, the Chairman, Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH), led by His Eminence Ambassador at Large for Global Peace and Human Rights and Interfaith Harmony, Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui has welcomed the temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran; an important step bringing hope, de-escalation and peace after weeks in a region long burdened by conflict. He said that dialogue must prevail over conflict, the world deserves peace, not war. Time now for restraint, dialogue and urgent humanitarian aid to ensure lasting peace. He emphasize the necessity of the full implementation of the temporary ceasefire on the ground.
His Eminence Global Peace and Human Rights Ambassador urges all parties involved to honour both the spirit and the terms of the agreement, and to act in full accordance with international law so that this pause in hostilities may evolve into a durable and meaningful peace. He said the path to lasting peace can only be achieved through dialogue, diplomacy, and mutual trust.
Ambassador Allama Ahsan Siddiqui is also conveys his appreciation to these countries the China, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Egypt , Qatar and leaderships who have worked diligently behind the scenes to facilitate dialogue and shown the capability of courageous diplomacy in times of crisis between the United States and Iran; in particular Government of Pakistan has averted a major global catastrophe, effective, diplomatic role it has played in bringing about this vital ceasefire, and giving peaceful diplomatic efforts a chance to seek a comprehensive and conclusive end to the conflict.
