For the past few months, we’ve engaged hundreds of thousands of Canadians, alongside many others, to urge for Canada to suspend its $2 BN free trade deal with Israel (CIFTA) given Israel’s numerous violations of its treaty obligations with Canada.
We know that you’ve been engaging with your local elected officials for months about this.
We have seen the IDF commit mass atrocities and genocide for almost two years in Gaza.
Yesterday, the IDF bombed Qatar, in yet another escalation.
It is time for Canada to suspend our $2 billion trade deal with Israel. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has suggested the same for the European Union.
We must act NOW.
Free trade is not possible—and is against our own current treaty with Israel —when one party is committing genocide

“Hello, my name is [Your Name], and I’m your constituent. I’m calling in regards to Ministers Anands statement today suggesting its time for Canada to re-evaluate its relationship with Israel. We completely and utterly agree. We have been calling for this since the genocide began two years ago. Canada must follow the EU’s lead and swiftly suspend our $2B trade deal with Israel. Genocide and the destabilization of global order cannot be tolerated.
