Despite obstacles, numerous female entrepreneurs have achieved tremendous career success and are considered role models for young female entrepreneurs. Dr. Asma Al Aufi, a multi-award-winning Omani logistics industry entrepreneur, is one of these exemplars.
Dr. Asma was just named one of the Global 200 Women Power Leaders for 2025. Given that the logistics industry has traditionally been perceived as male-dominated, the significance of highly accomplished female leaders like Dr. Asma cannot be overstated.
Dr. Asma is the Managing Director of Moon Group Oman, an award-winning logistics and supply chain firm. Established in 1997, The Moon Group LLC is a well-known Omani firm, renowned for its diversified portfolio and commitment to excellence. Career role models like Dr. Asma may inspire young women to pursue entrepreneurship since this is the best way for them to achieve economic empowerment and autonomy.
