Women are the backbone of a nation. It is an admitted reality that no society can survive without women. Women have played a key role in socio-economic development throughout history. We must empower women so that they can contribute to the well-being of their families and communities. Empowering women means giving women the equal right to participate in all social activities, including education, health, the economy, and politics. Dr Richardson is a highly educated and multi-talented woman. ” I was born and raised on the tiny British Caribbean island of Anguilla, West Indies, and I now reside in the United Kingdom. I have studied broadcasting at the University of West London, Business Enterprise at Northumbria, and Media Studies and Radio Production at Lambert College. I have been awarded five honorary doctorates and one honorary professorship. I specialised in women’s empowerment and, as a fashionista, uplifted and influenced others positively through my fashion brands,” she said.

” As the fourth child in a large family, I was used to seeing my mother struggle to guarantee a life for her children. Despite her best efforts, it became clear that some girls went unnoticed because their families were not wealthy. That girl was me. It touched my heart a lot, and, despite being a child, I decided to work to empower women. Such painful incidents at an early age have shaped me into who I am today. They have grounded me and opened my eyes to the various realities of life and life as a woman. As a result, I have devoted my life to empowering women of all ages through my platforms: Women of Heart Awards, Face of Woha, and Women of Heart Foundation, to inspire more love, kindness, harmony, and gratitude in the world, “she said.

” I am working as project leader for the V team at the University of West London, managing 35 volunteers working on community activities including one-day challenges and tree planting in Gunnersbury Park; empowering children as Mother Nature during the International Educational Handshake at London Metropolitan University; acting as host for the Women Involvement Charity Concert, which raised funds for Future Sense; fundraising for the Have A Heart Appeal, Help a London Child, and The Classic Foundation; and campaigning for the Hunger Summit and IF Enough Food for Everyone. I am the founder of the Women of Heart Foundation, which raises funds to celebrate, support, promote, empower, and educate women globally,” she said.
