“My name is Dr. Lucas Piccinin, and I am the founder and CEO of NetConv Shop, an award-winning retail technology company that uses real-time expiration data to help retailers all over the world improve the pricing and placement of perishable goods,” Dr. Lucas shared in introduction. “After earning my business administration degree from EAESP-FGV in 2006, I had planned to sell groceries online. I even began sketching the first version of NetConv Shop.
My business interest was clear when I first made a list of groceries and asked my neighbors what they would like delivered. A simple yet innovative idea—a localized digital link between retailers and customers—was the foundation of my tech company.
Between those early years and NetConv’s official launch, I worked in banking, balanced work and education to complete a law degree, and took on a challenging turnaround project inside my family’s business. These challenges and experiences improved my leadership and entrepreneurial skills, strategic vision, and understanding of how people interact—all of which were essential for creating a sustainable business,” stated Dr. Lucas.
Dr. Lucas’s outstanding creativity, adaptability, and entrepreneurial acumen have earned him several prestigious honors.
“I have received several awards, including World Top Leaders 2025 and World’s Most Inspiring and Impactful Leader 2025. I was recognized as the Transformational Leader of the Year 2025: A Marvel in Leadership by White Page International. I received this prestigious honor during the Global Leadership Conclave 2025, held at the prestigious UK House of Lords, UK Parliament. I just received an Honorary Doctorate from Azteca University,” he explained.
Dr. Lucas has too many accomplishments to list them all here. He received his Business Administration degree from EAESP-FGV in 2006. He also graduated in law and holds several professional diplomas and certificates.
